Large, established firms need to be innovative and adapt to changes in their environment. At the same time, these firms must efficiently focus on their cur-rent mainstream activities, also referred to as alignment. Simultaneous execution of both these activities has been regarded crucial for a corporation’s survival. While empiric research on Corporate Entrepreneurship (hereafter: CE) has grown significantly, there has been little attention to the way CE is applied in practice.
