In this study I examine whether culture correlates with the prevalence of different forms of rewarding employees. Culture is defined by the six cultural dimensions which were formed by Hofstede. These dimensions were first formed in 1974 and developed more later on. In this paper I have found that there is almost no significant relation between the prevalence of performance pay and the cultural dimensions. In most cases, the coefficients do not follow theoretical predictions.
