In a natural field experiment we tested how we could prevent people from taking shortcuts. Based on several theories from the field of behavioural economics we designed signs to make people stop cheating. The conclusions were derived from Fisher exact tests and a linear and logistic regression. The results showed that a sign with just a request was not enough, more effective were: an image of eyes, a moral reminder and a role model suggestion.
