Towards testing the theory of "On committees of experts" setting up an experiment

Abstract In their 2007 paper "On Committees of Experts", Bauke Visser and Otto Swank propose a theory about the decision making of committees of experts. So far this theory and the level of rationality it assumes have not been tested. In this I propose a laboratory experiment to test this theory. In addition I propose several alternative experiments that could be used to test parts of the theory and results, as well as report some observations on the first actual trails of one of the alternative experiments.
