A longitudinal study on poverty and Social Assistance in the city of Rotterdam, The Netherlands 1999-2006
While conventional studies on persistent poverty make use of point-in-time samples, which often overestimate the importance of persistent poverty, this study uses a longitudinal approach, which makes it possible to follow individuals through time. This offers a more realistic and detailed image of people experiencing poverty.
