Tegenpolen: Een onderzoek naar de huisvesting van (langer)blijvende Poolse arbeidsmigranten in Rotterdam.

In this research a group of migrants is being examined, which have not received much attention from the media, politics or social sciences. The respondents of this research all have given proof that they want to stay here longer or even permanent. The main question of this research therefore is how the housing of the respondents of this research is being arranged and looks like. This is done by first describing their migration motives and plans, because their plans may determine their situation. The next part describes the pattern of settlement of Poles in Rotterdam. With a settlement pattern certain types of houses are being selected. This partly determines the housing situation of the migrant. The last part of this research deals with the concrete housing situation of the respondents. With descriptions and pictures an inside look in their housing is being offered
